He shows how extremists understand religion and what are the reasons for this opinions. Besides, in his book he compares extremists opinion to moderate Muslims opinion. He cover several topics, from the relation between God and individuals to terrorism to role of women in Islam to the definition of jihad to puritanical practices...
Because of his outspoken voice, he and his family are in permanent danger (death threat, apostasy judgment... ).
